Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This page explains what happens to your information when you use CreatorPreflight (creatorpreflight.com and its subdomains). The short version: the tools run entirely in your browser, and we do not collect, store or sell your personal information.

Your files never leave your device

When you open an image in the Thumbnail Tester or Background Remover, or a video in the Creator Video Toolkit, your browser reads and processes the file locally so it can render previews and run checks (such as resolution, file size, brightness, contrast and colour palette). Files are not uploaded to any server. The same applies to text you enter — titles, topics, keywords, comment lists and styled text are processed on your device, and nothing you enter is saved when you leave or refresh the page.

One narrow exception: the Thumbnail Downloader turns the video link you paste into image addresses on YouTube's own image servers (i.ytimg.com), and your browser loads those preview images directly from Google — exactly as it does for any thumbnail on YouTube itself. Nothing passes through a server of ours.

Information we collect

• No accounts. There is no sign-up, login or user profile on this site.
• No tracking by us. We do not run our own analytics and we do not set our own cookies.
• Contact email. If you email us, we receive the address and message you send, and we use them only to reply to you.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and you can learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them; Google may log that request under its own privacy policy.

Children

This site is a general-audience creator tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
